About Steve Heard
Steve Heard shot black and white and color photographs for over 30 years.
His photographs have appeared in print, web features, and textbooks, as well as being acquired by private collectors.
Steve’s photographs of the French Quarter in New Orleans were selected as historical images by the city’s famous Roosevelt Hotel as part of its restoration, and are part of the historical hotel’s permanent collection where they are on display.
His images of the renowned experimental DC-X Delta Clipper rocket are in the collection of the New Mexico Museum of Space History.
Steve Heard was also a producer of educational and instructional television programming. His productions for PBS won numerous awards, including three Peabody Awards, a Gold Medal from the New York Film Festival, and the entertainment industry’s Environmental Media Award.
