St. John’s Harbor, Antigua

Whatever else the east Caribbean nation of Antigua may produce, its rich, bold and alluring colors must be one of its most aesthetic exports. The centerpiece of this color collage is a late afternoon photograph of St. John’s Harbour, amplified by the details of doors, shutters, fabrics and walls in eight companion images. Shot on color transparency film (slides) in 2001.
